Premier League Liverpool midfielders doubtful

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is set for a scan on his hamstring to determine the extent of the injury while Adam Lallana is touch and go and will be assessed ahead of Monday night's match against Manchester United.

The Dutch international sustained the hip and hamstring injury while on international duty with the Netherlands after cementing his place in the starting lineup under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp since his arrival from Newcastle this summer.

Meanwhile, Lallana is still recovering from an injury that dates back to the Swansea City match before the international break as the former Southampton star wasn't able to suit up for the Three Lions in their World Cup qualifiers.
