Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos has returned from his loan at Bolton Wanderers, but manager Neil Lennon was impressed enough to tell the "Daily Star" the club could look for a permanent move in the summer.
"Ben has certainly been beneficial for us," Lennon said. "He has made us better, and I think it has worked for Ben too. So, it might be something we look at going forward. He has certainly enhanced his reputation and the fact he's out of contract as well, this has really put him in the shop window. I'm sure there will be potential suitors for him and we may be one of them."
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has previously stated that he will not return to Manchester United next season following the arrival of Victor Valdes, which now makes his the fourth-choice keeper also behind Andres Lindegaard. On loan, Amos made nine appearances for Bolton and could come back after his contract expires this summer.
"[I] really enjoyed my time there, it's a club ready to kick on now and challenge in the years to come," Amos tweeted. "Thanks to the fans and everyone who made my time at the club so enjoyable. Much appreciated!"
