Chelsea winger Pedro confirmed he spoke briefly with Barcelona this summer about a potential return to the club but never moved on any of the interest.
"I talked with [Barcelona president Josep Maria] Bartomeu," Pedro said in an interview with the Spanish media. "But perhaps more was made of the conversation than what it merited, in terms of speculation.
"It is difficult to return somewhere, but you will always have memories of your time at the club."
The 29-year-old was linked with a move back to the club after not fitting into Chelsea's system last season, but the Spaniard has found a place under new manager Antonio Conte, starting the last two Premier League matches and recording a goal and two assists this season.
