Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has been invited back into first-team training with the club after being exiled by manager Jose Mourinho since his appointment in the summer.
The German midfielder has been silent on his treatment by the club, only stating that he will be ready when the club calls upon him, despite being sent to train with the reserves and then by himself and not being included in the Europa League squad.
It remains to be seen whether the 32-year-old, who recently retired from the Germany national team, will see any match action in the near future with Manchester United struggling and plagued by injuries, but the call to training marks a big step in the right direction.
