Klopp to ease in Woodburn

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told the "Daily Mail" that he won't rush winger Ben Woodburn into first-team action after scoring his first goal for the club in his first senior team appearance on Tuesday in the League Cup semifinals.

In the win against Leeds United, Woodburn became Liverpool's youngest ever player to score in a first-team match at just 17 years old, beating out Michael Owen's longstanding record.

"We know how to handle the situation. I know I can say to you whatever I want but if he scores goals, it’s very difficult to stay cool from your side...I am really happy for him. The only problem is that I am a little bit afraid of [the media]. That is the thing why I am so quiet."
