West Bromwich Albion officially announced the signing of Wigan winger Callum McManaman on a three-and-a-half year contract to keep him at The Hawthorns through the end of the 2018 season after the 23-year-old passed his medical this morning. The winger becomes the first signing of the Tony Pulis era, after the manager took over at the start of the month.

"I'm really made up to have joined,” McManaman told the club website. “When the chance came to move to West Bromwich Albion, and return to the Premier League, I couldn't turn it down. This is a great move for me and I hope the Albion fans will get to see the best of me. Albion are a great club, with a good tradition. I can't wait to get going."

The England international won the FA Cup with Wigan in 2013, then-managed by Everton boss Roberto Martinez, and has five goals this season in the Championship in 23 appearances. West Brom’s first bid for the winger was shot down by Wigan before seeing their £4.75million offer accepted yesterday. The club confirmed he will wear the No. 19 shirt and could be available as soon as this weekend’s Premier League match when they host Tottenham Hotspur.
