Everton defender John Stones told "EvertonFC.com" his rehabilitation process is coming along smoothly as he returns from ankle surgery: “It’s all going well. I am improving every day and my ankle is responding well to the treatment and all the things that I am doing.
“The physios and backroom staff are working really hard with me and, touch wood, everything goes as planned.
“It’s just making sure I don’t rush it and take it step by step. You want to push it as much as you can but doing so without damaging it again. There are limitations but also a lot to give and I am just trying to push it as much as possible.
